INSEAD Hinrich Foundation Scholarship

Description:

The scholarship was established in 2018 thanks to the generous support of the Hinrich Foundation whose mission it is to promote sustainable global trade. The Foundation, created by Merle A. Hinrich, advances its objective by supporting trade career development, offering export trade assistance, and fostering international trade research. The Foundation believes education is an essential element to further corporate growth and sustainability. It sponsors education and careers for people who are committed to working in global trade. The objective is to help export companies across the value chain to enhance their talent development pipeline.

Eligibility:

One INSEAD Hinrich Foundation Scholarship will be awarded in both September and January INSEAD MBA intakes. Only candidates who are admitted to the MBA programme or are in the interview process may apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in global trade and/or who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing their career in this domain. Preference will be given to candidates who show motivation to work in Asia post-MBA. Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to engage with the Hinrich Foundation for mentorship and possible career opportunities.

Essay topic :

1).Please explain why you qualify for the Hinrich Foundation Scholarship (maximum 250 words).
2).Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as your budget for the year at INSEAD. How do you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship from INSEAD?( 150-200 words)
